EXTD=Russian-born pianist Nina Postolovskaya began her musical\ntraini
EXTD=ng at the age of three with her father, the tenor of the \nOdessa
EXTD= Opera.  Through the age of eighteen she studied\nat the Stoliars
EXTD=ky School of Music, graduating with high\nhonors.  Her most influ
EXTD=ential teacher was the prominent\nprofessor of the Odessa Conserv
EXTD=atory, Ludmilla Ginsburg, a\npupil of Heinrich Neuhas who was the
EXTD= famed teacher of \nGilels and Richter.  Ms. Postolovskaya made h
EXTD=er concert debut\nat the age of sixteen, performing Liszt's E-fla
EXTD=t Piano Concerto, and\nsubsequently performed widely in the Sovie
EXTD=t Union, while\nearning her Masters of Arts Degree at the Gorky C
EXTD=onservatory.\nAfter touring Europe in the summer of 1979, she imm
EXTD=igrated\nto the United States and continued her performing career
EXTD= with\nappearences and broadcasts throughout the West Coast.  In\n
EXTD=the following years, she toured nationwide under the auspices\nof
EXTD= Columbia Artists, Inc.  (Community Concerts) and also\nperformed
EXTD= as a soloist with numerous orchestras.\nMs. Postolovskaya has ap
EXTD=peared as a soloist with the San\nFrancisco Midsummer Mozart Orch
EXTD=estra, conducted by George\nCleve, in the performance of Mozart's
EXTD= Piano Concerto No. 15 in\nB flat.  In 1995, she will appear as a
EXTD= soloist with the Moscow\nChamber Orchestra at the International 
EXTD=Music Festival in\nAthens, Greece and perform solo concerts throu
EXTD=ghout Germany.\nMs. Postolovskaya resides in the San Francisco Ba
